Hi. I'm Max.
I’m a certified financial counselor who has built a career working with university students and young professionals to maximize their money and build strong financial foundations that will serve them throughout their lives. (I’m also a pro-wrestling fan and ramen aficionado, but that seems less relevant right now.)

Every day I meet bright, capable people attempting to untangle their money woes. It can be frustrating, confusing, and hard to know where to start.

I know what it's like because at times I’ve struggled myself: I’ve been a student living on a dollar a day. I’ve racked up debt after a nasty break-up. I’ve even had a panic attack over a mortgage. Money ain't pretty.

I also know what it takes to get control of your financial life and how liberating it can be once you do. It was a long road to get myself here, but I'm excited to share what I've learned along the way. Money can actually be pretty rad.

The biggest lesson: It takes more than just knowing what to do. When we combine financial literacy with a better understanding of human behavior and the right kind of accountability, I believe anyone can make meaningful change in a short amount of time. I see it proven every day.

The second big lesson is that time is SUPER important, so the sooner we get started, the better!
